Board of Directors (updated September 09)
The constitution of the Central Coast Division of General Practice sets out the responsibilities of the Board and of Board members and gives to them the power to govern the organisation in order to achieve its mission and strategic goals.
The CCDGP Board currently has 8 members: 6 (GP members) elected by the Division members, 2 (non GP members) appointed by the Board.
Board members responsibilities:
- Have the overall responsibility for corporate governance.
- Set the strategic direction of the company and the goals for management.
- Review the plans of management, and monitor the performance of management against those plans in achieving the established goals.
- Ensure compliance with statutory responsibilities.
- The Division board meets on a monthly and is supported by a number of sub-committees. Current Board members are:
