This program/service is for any General Practitioner providing antenatal care and immediate postnatal care (up to 28 days after the birth of the baby). GPs wishing to join the ANSC team, can contact the ANSC Coordinator for the ANSC Guidelines and Protocol folder, which includes eligibility criteria, information and application form. ANSC Protocol and Guidelines Folder and CD This folder is a working document and divided into 10 sections. At the front of the folder, the contents table is by sections with an additional A to Z index for easy reference.
Throughout the year, antenatal updates will be provided as mailouts as well as articles in the GP faxout and Newsletters. These updates and additional supplements can be filed in your folder. Please contact CCDGP for a copy of this folder and CD. Benefits for patients
Current level of Program Participation / UtilisationCurrently 136 GP’s have been issued with 2005 - 2008 Protocol and Guidelines Folder and CD. Of these 106 are registered with the Antenatal Shared Care Program.
